The ladies from Harvest meet every week, usually on Thursday to encourage one another and to be a practical support in the life of the church. As we meet we trust the Lord that He will not only be present at every meeting but lead every meeting. Most times we meet alone, however from time to time elders from other countries have been available to meet with us and when they visit, it is a time of much rejoicing. We realise what a great privilege their visits are as they bring much needed help to each of our lives.
Although the meetings are predominantly attended by women it is not a "closed" meeting and we welcome new sisters and brothers to join us. We realize that the gospel that we have received in our hearts is the power of God to change our lives and each week we can testify of His wonderful grace and commitment to us as we share what He is doing in our hearts. The Lord has been helping us to open our lives to each other, to pray for each other and our hearts have been linked as we continue to trust Him to take care of every person in the meetings. We strive to continue to encourage one another to continue to take the road of the cross and to grow in the Lord
As the months have gone by, more and more we see how the Lord is building His church using our lives. This is indeed a privilege! We can testify of ladies who are giving their lives for each other in our midst. This is the fruit of the gospel and the work of God taking place in our hearts! We can only rejoice together and give Him all the glory. All He asks from us as women is to have surrendered lives.
